The first 24 hours after using the products it’s was worth it. After a week I wanted to cry.

Before using the product I sent an email asking if the jar says it’s good for 3 years (I believe it said) but the product box says the self life is 12 months (just like what makeup products show too) which should I really be following. Per “James”, they said “If anything I’d go with the 12 months to be safe, but that could be the specificity for the container itself”. Okay, fine I guess... Then I also asked if it was okay to leave the product in my hair for longer than a month because I’m joining the army, I have Locs (I’m black I don’t really wash my hair as frequently as people who aren’t and with the army me trying to retwist every other day might as well make me bald…), and the basic training I’ll be in will most definitely be longer than the usual 10 weeks cause you know I’ll sweating every single day and wanted to know if it will somewhat hold or will some sort of reapplications be needed. The response, “Im pretty positive it should be fine for having it in for a long time”. After a few days it was peeling off my hair and started to look like a terrible case dandruff.

The uncertainty of whomever responded to me was the most helpful… Thank god a bought the small jar 🥺 and I might as well finish it and not waste my money.

This gel is awesome...delivers as promised. Shipping took a little bit..but well worth the wait for an proct that always sells out

The gel smells so freaking good. I wish it lasted longer cause its pretty much unnoticeable once its in your hair. The gel holds up well, I scrunch it in after a shower to give my hair some waves and it holds up all day even with the tiniest amount of gel.

I had such high hopes for this gel but, unfortunately, those hopes were dashed. I give it a 5 for hold but it became so crusty, within a short amount of time, and it was so hard to wash out. Also, I gave my rating of a three because they sent me a free supply of detangler. Unfortunately, the detangler did not work at all and it was so sticky and, once it dried, it was very stiff. I really wanted to love this product and support those who serve our country but, regrettably, I can not.

I love the gel so much , it’s the only gel that actually works on my hair and it doesn’t flake . The gel smells like fresh mango & it’s worth getting i can’t wait until the next restock !
